The Journey

Ronald L. Corbitt II is the visionary CEO and President of D. L. R. PARFUMS, a distinguished fragrance company that embodies the essence of luxury and distinction. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Ronald's journey into the world of fragrances began with a personal passion for colognes. As a young man, he delighted in purchasing various scents, reveling in the joy of smelling good and nurturing a dream of one day creating his own signature fragrance brand.

In 2011, Ronald set out to realize this dream by founding his own fragrance company, initially named Ronald Dlanor—'Dlanor' being 'Ronald' spelled backward. Pronounced as "Dalor," it wasn't until Ronald met his future wife, Juanamarie, in 2016, and married her in 2019, that they discovered the pronunciation was incorrect. Together, they decided to rebrand, using some of the letters from 'Dlanor' to create D. L. R., an acronym for Distinctive Luxurious Rich. These qualities encapsulate the essence of their fragrance brand, setting it apart in the competitive market.

The year 2019 marked a significant turning point for Ronald, as he began experimenting with making wax colognes at home. This hobby evolved into mixing fragrance and essential oils, which he bottled for his personal collection. Recognizing the potential for something greater, Ronald and Juanamarie decided to elevate their venture by collaborating with a top fragrance company and their Master Perfumer. This partnership, combined with their shared vision, has been instrumental in crafting the unique identity of D. L. R. PARFUMS.

Under Ronald's leadership, D. L. R. PARFUMS has become synonymous with exclusivity and quality. The brand's tagline, "If it's meant to be, let it." perfectly encapsulates the essence and ambition of the company. Ronald L. Corbitt II's journey from a fragrance enthusiast to a successful entrepreneur is a testament to his passion, dedication, and the collaborative spirit he shares with his wife, making D. L. R. PARFUMS a true hallmark of luxury in the fragrance industry.
